February, the month of Love has come and gone. It went so fast! We had human visitors the past month along with our usual bird and furry friends.
Unfortunately, the sloth were not to be found when my brother and his bride were visiting. A few days after they left we discovered not one but TWO sloth in the forest! We had two hanging around for a week. The past couple of days I've only been able to find one.
Weather this February was odd with rain falling in many parts of the country at one time or another. Around us the ground was often wet on morning walks from cloud cover through the night.
The dogs walked with sweaters on while I had on my hoodie with the drawstring tied tight around my face. Not only was it cold but we had fierce winds. We got a chance to try out the space heater I brought home from my last trip to the states. It worked great when we needed it! Trust me, 60 degrees in the tropics is nothing like sixty degrees any where else I've been.
Birding has been great with spotting of birds I've not recorded before like the Yellow breasted Chat, second photo in the series. The Baltimore Orioles will only be around for a short while more so I'm enjoying them while I can.
Thought I'd write more but wanting to get something posted this morning and it's already taken longer than I'd hoped to get this far.
Enjoy the photos!
