The museum in San Ramon was host to Japanese pianist Nazomi Iwai Friday night. Bill and I went to the intimate performance and thouroghly enjoyed it. A different experience than the pianist we'd seen the previous week.
We went with no information about the pianist other than her name. Both hubby and I were surprised to discover Nozomi Iwai is blind. She is an incredibly talented pianist, sight or no sight. The passion she plays with is moving.
This time we made sure to get seats where we could watch her hands on the keyboard. FANTASTIC!!! I loved it. She was awesome.
Another wonderful evening out for us at the museum.
For anyone in Costa Rica who would like to see her perform she will be playing in Grecia Saturday night.
