The turmeric, curcuma in our yard is coming into bloom. Always near Easter time. Our first years in Costa Rica we only knew this odd plant as the resurrection plant. It's what the locals we encountered called it. Blooming at Eastertime, resurrection... it made sense.
We had no idea this plant would end up helping us resurrect our own lives.
Thank you little plant! What a blessing to have it growing wild all around our house.
