The event was held at Quinta Roma Vista, a beautiful place outside the town of Atenas. Quinta Roma Vista is the perfect place for an event such as this with space to gather and areas to watch the crowds from a safe distance. :)
The Chili Cook Off has grown into a rather large annual event. Congratulations to all who made this an enjoyable event for our family. And I believe congratulations are in order for Jalapenos as well for winning. Bill gave you his vote Norman! Mine had to go to the vegan chili.

And browsing the booksale, we were thankful for the open space where we spread our blanket to enjoy the afternoon.
Cool breeze, sunny afternoon, shady trees, good company all together for a great cause ...... ...what could possibly be missing?
Cake? No...there was plenty of that and ice cream too!
