Yep, that's fur tree not fir tree. I mean, how else would you describe a tree that spouts what looks like hair or fur all over it.
At first we thought it was a kind of bottle brush tree,maybe it is. These pinkish sprouts weren't just at the ends of branches. They were all along the branches and even the trunk of the tree.
I am continually amazed with nature!
