A personal note to readers:
I want to take a moment and thank all our readers for their loving thoughts and support during our transition to a life without Bear. We have family in town who are keeping us occupied so we are not dwelling on the loss of a loved one but moving on with our lives knowing his spirit is content.
On top of having company, we've been having internet/computer issues at the house so I've not been able to respond to all those who've written us personal messages. Please don't take it personal if I've not responded to you. Computer issues are a part of life here. I'm taking it as a sign to spend time actively living instead of sitting at the computer. Eventually, I'll get to the emails, right now ... while I have a minute and somewhat of a connection I just want to let everyone know we're good. The comments and emails have been a wonderful and unexpected source of strength.
I wrote about Bears death as a way to heal my personal pain. I didn't expect the responses I got. Thank you all so much for first of all reading the blog and secondly to those who've written for taking time out of your busy personal lives to comfort us in our grief.
May God Bless you all and keep you and your loved ones (both two and four-legged) safe this holiday season.
Sincerely,
Jen
